Marianne Bonanno majored in Biochemistry. After graduation, once she takes some time off to volunteer and hopefully travel, she will be applying to medical school! Her favorite part of being in Tri Sigma was getting one last chance to meet and connect with other women around campus she otherwise would have never known.
Sara Gulasey graduated with a BSN from the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing. She is now working while studying to take her nursing boards. After passing boards, she aims to work on an oncology floor or a critical care unit in Cleveland, Ohio. Sara's favorite part about being in Tri Sigma was how it has empowered her to take action in her life. Sara mentioned how she is constantly pushed to be a better version of herself. Her favorite part of being a chartering member is the fact that she joined on a whim, but stayed because she found a group of phenomenal individuals that never cease to amaze her and an organization that drives her passion.
Linda Nguyen graduated with a B.S. in Accounting. Even though she has left CWRU, Linda stayed in the Greater Cleveland area working as VP for a local company called Drifter. Her favorite part of being in Tri Sigma was the chance to meet women she never would have met and learning and experiencing things she never would have experienced without this sisterhood - like participating in Greek Week events, designing purple posters, or promoting philanthropy events as a part of the PR committee.
Jen Rosen majored in Sociology, Religious Studies, and Women & Gender Studies. After leaving CWRU, Jen moved to Ames, Iowa, for two years to earn her M.Ed. in Student Affairs at Iowa State University! She is working as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Residence, and working with First Year students! Her favorite part of being in Tri Sigma was meeting sisters she didn't know eight months ago. Jen mentioned that her best friend in Sigma is a sister she had never met before, who's a different year than her, but who just clicked when they first met!
Alison Smith majored in Biology and Cognitive Science. Alison will be working as a lab technician here at CWRU for a year and then hopes to go on to medical school. Her favorite part of being in Tri Sigma was getting to know all of the wonderful people in the sorority and participating in rope pull during Greek Week.
Shruthi Srinivas majored in Biomedical Engineering. After graduation, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to work as a software consultant for QGenda, Inc., a software company that works with hospitals to develop schematics for physician scheduling. Shruthi's favorite part of being in Sigma was finding people that are just as crazy and goofy as her to do crazy things with. She loved just having the support to encourage her to do break out of her comfort zone and do things that she's never done - such as running a half marathon or dancing in variety show during Greek Week. Shruthi believes that these experiences helped enhance her senior year.
Kimmie Youngs started out as a Nursing major at CWRU, but then became undecided. While she has not graduated from CWRU, she still became a Tri Sigma alumnae. After returning to Phoenix, Arizona, Kimmie plans on working for a year, beginning various projects, and traveling. Her favorite part of being in Tri Sigma was having the chance to connect with so many amazing young women. Kimmie believes that being a chartering member has taught her so much on the difficulties with starting an organization from scratch and the determination that is needed to overcome these obstacles.
